superbowl glahglah

Wow, was it already a year ago? Last year on Superbowl sunday, I threw the
BEST PARTY ever. Ask anyone.. MAN was it good...
This year, I tried, I really did... but a house with 5 girls, enthusiasm was hard to come by. I don't have any money or food, but I cooked up some snacks and tried to get my roomates intereeted in watching it with me....
They systematically left until 10 minutes into the game, I realized I was the only one left in the house. Hmph. SO now instead, I'm writing this entry, watching the game in my room. Kind of.... The Broncos aren't playing so I'm not as much into the game as I am into just watching the tight pants.
mmmm.... tight pants......
anywho, I just realized I should have gone over to Travis' house - the ultimate bachelor pad... oh well. I can enjoy the tight pants here in the comfort of my own room, thankee much.
So last night I went to see How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. I figured it was a mistake because the last thing a girl with love issues needs is a romantic comedy. But MAN, it was hilarious!! My roomates got me a ticket and I got there after teaching all day just before the movie started. Ug, it was so nice.
The movie was so funny and my adorable new roomate from Georgia sat next to me and we all screamed with laughter. It's a guilty pleasure to just enjoy a chick flick every now and then. Especially with friends who enjoy it too. Awwww.
I am LOVING my hair. Okay, most men prefer long hair, but I am currently not in a position to have to make any boy happy right now so SHORT HAIR!! Woohoo!
Why do they like it? I don't care, because oh Reva loves feeling funky. And as soon as I get paid next, I'm dying my hair blue again or something... well, blue highlights anyways. I can be as freaky as I want, and it's ridiculous how adorable the short hair looks! B ring on the blue!
I'm still having a hard time being out here. The lonliness and figuring out where my place is in the world...
Yesterday, my little student Arielle and I were having a funlesson.. I love teaching violin, and I'm good at it. I really am. I have 9 students at the academy I teach at, and they treat me very kindly.
Arielle's mom stopped me halfway through the lesson with questions about schedule... she was worried I wouldn't be here next year - and I assured her I'll stick around and teach Arielle.
"Well good. We're really glad you're here. Arielle is just so happy you've come here and so am I."
Later I went to teach an adult I met a fiddle camp. This nice lady Karen always wanted to learn jazz, and I like the opportunity to teach it. We had fun - a lot of fun, but as I was leaving she stopped me and said
"I can't tell you how happy I am you've come here. I've been looking for someone like you to help me for years. Thank you for coming to Arizona!"
wow. That's two people who are glad I'm here. 2 down, 100 million to go.
Hello Arizona.
Okay, back to watching the tight pants.
SUPERCRACK is glued to the screen:)
