quick Chrsitmas thing

It's been days since I updated this thing. Smack me with a wet noodle, why doncha?
First off - SHE'S GONE!!!!!!!!!!! THE UKRANIAN HAS LEFT THE COUNTRY!!!!!!!!
Yes, we have been singing the Hallelujah chorus allll day.
Second, MERRY CHIRSTMAS EVE!!!!!!
And apparently, an annual tradition has occured. This is the second year in a row that my dad has come to me on Christmas Eve after 2pm and says "Let's go get something for Mama Bear."
AK! First off, Mom HATES getting presents. Especially from dad - he always spends too much or gets something too gregarious or... she just gets mad. So last minute shoping means impuse buying which means expensive which means mom's goona be yelling at everyone Christmas day. whoo.
Second, well, that's kind of it. It's just a mess. Craziness. SOMEone is going to get mad.
Another Christmas present is MATMUNCH is home!!!!!! He and Annie surprised me yesterday and I'm so giddy I can't control myself. I didn't get to enjoy is long because there's a bride-to-be in the house so Megan and her mom and my mom and I spent all day shopping for bridal dresses and cakes.
Oh yeah, Quinn proposed to Megan and now I have the BEST EVER sister! I finally have a sister and she's so sweet and marvelous and she's sweet to mom and everyone and she's so level headed... SO unlike us!! I'm SO EXCITED!!!!!!
Boy though, am I glad I don't have to get married any time soon... what a headache! Thank heavens for immaturity! (althogh that doesn't stop as many people from getting married as it should....!)
Today I finally got to getting my Christmas gifts. Annie stoppped by and I commandeered(sp?) her to take me to Golden for good ol' Christmas presents. The selection was about as good as an old west store could be, but it's the thought that counts. Woo-wee.
And tomorrow, 7 people are coming into town for a week... relative city. How will we survive???? Mom is about to go ballistic. She'll go even crazier when she gets the presents dad bought her...
Some more carpet came in today but not all of it.. you can't even recognize our house anymore. Gutted, re-painted, reorganized... I love it. New house!!! At what cost? It's driving us NUTS!!!!!!
Man, I need a vacation.
