crazy week

Well, I don't have time to update but I think I orta so here goes. Today, I'm officially married 2 months!!!!
It sneaks up on me, sometimes I look at him and I'm like - I'm MARRIED to you?? He is always doing something so funny or cute but totally random and I think if I wasn't married to him I'd just be in awe and hang out with him, waiting to get him to make me laugh. Luckily, I get to be around him lots since we're married and shacking up and all, so it's all giggles for me:)
This weekend was cool - I had 2 gigs with my band, the Border Collies and we had our awesome friend PAscal come and visit us from Oregon and hang out and cook. Gaaanhhhhhh, it was soo good - he was raised half in France, the man can cook!!
Ooo, and those shootings in Atlanta?? Friday I played a gig at the Underground Atlanta, right below where Brian Nichols had carjacked all those people! We figured he was long gone by then, so we'd be safe, but the next day, they caught him right here in Duluth, just blocks from my apartment! WOW! Freaked us out, that's for sure!
I had such a nice night last night for our Family Home Evening. We watched a church flick and cuddled and such and just spent some nice, quality time together. It's the last quality time I'll get until Sunday, so good heavens I soaked it up.
When you are in a celtic band, there's a WHOLE lot to do around St. Patrick's day, so I have 3 gigs in the next 2 days. AND here's the delicious part - the weekend I will spend the entire time in Athens, GA, having all 5 of our orchestras perform in the statewide festival competition. I'm only sightly freaked out.
And think about it - I was all crazed after trying to watch over 41 kids in Reno? Now - 220. OH FREAKING JOY. And you know my co-teacher won't be anywhere to be found, I'll be the one who has to do all the dirty work.
Barf. Plus I think I'm getting sick.
I don't care so much though. I have a wonderous hubby who loves moi. It pulls me through, it do. I really recommend this marriage thing. Honestly, Jared is a fantastic husband. he boggles my mind with how caring and generous and thoughtful he is. Dating wasn't so easy for us. It was hard sometimes, living two different places, not knowing each other enough to understand why we react and do the things we do. But married, living together, we both have this common goal to make our home and our spouse happy. He does an incredible job of making me happy:)
SUPERCRACK can get through anything now, even this week... blegh!
