still feelin' squidgy

Solei's room might come together. Someday.
Yesterday I got out the studfinder to finally figure out where I could put up the mirror and shelf for her dress-up stuff (although as of yet, the dress-up stuff freaks her out).
Now, I'm not tool-minded. Never decorated my life much beyond the disposable bits of life you put up in an apartment or dorm room. Nails and paint? That's too much commitment.
But we've painted her walls- a bright yellow, of course. So the next step is to put that stuff on the wall, right? Finish the job. We're settled, right? After less that 3 years of marriage and one apartment and living in 2 other-people's homes 2 we've owned.. yea, 5 places in less than 3 years, whoopee - and the fact that Jared's job is making him age prematurely... who knows how long I'll be here? Will I just have to pull the nails out of the wall and try desperately to sell another home again? I don't know, I can't feel settled.
I couldn't do it. I looked at the wall and thought about taking the nails out and packing it all up. Also, I couldn't find the hammer. Or nails. But you get the point.
Hope I feel more settled someday. But chances are...
Good GOLLY. Must come up with soemthing more interesting in my life to blog about!! Lessee.... I'm going to play in an musical pit orchestra next week as a last minute replacement. That'll take most of the week. We went to the store today and bought canned vegetables.
Oh, and I'm the best violin teacher ever. Well, the best I've ever been:) Had a few awesome lessons today. I may not be the most traditional or strict, but my kiddos love it.
