Woohoo!!
Just got back from Utah last night and tomorrow I leave for San Diego. This is living, yes it is. And then, to Arimazona! eepeepeepeepeep....
Utah was the best! Pete and Annie took the best pictures so I'll post those when they get developed. We did Arches National Park on the way to SLC and Moab and saw the beauty of the most gorgeous spot of highway ever - in Glenwood Canyon CO. Wow, it's gorgeous. And Pete's so unjaded about everything that we had to stop and admire everything we saw, it was so funny!
When we got to SLC, there was a mix up in how we'd get into the house while my friend who lives there is currently in California, but it all worked out splendidly. The beds were so tall we had to make running leaps to get in!
Then to Temple Square in Salt Lake City with all the beauty and splendor there... wow, we spent all day taking pictures and taking it all in. We even got to see an organ recital in the Tabernacle!!
Annnnd then we spent the next day in Provo with some of Annie's insane and not so insane reliatives and seeing BYU. It really is a gorgeous campus, even though it would make me nnnnnnuts to live there:)
Aaaaaand we went up to Bridal Veil falls which was stunning, and up to Sundance. We thought there would be a town or something up there - ANYthing becuase of the fancy film festival, but it was a small population of rich folks and some resort thingys. Huh. Apparently the film festival is in Park City, about an hour or so away. Weirdos.
Anywho, that evening we went to the dollar movies - only to find out it was 50 cent night! and we saw.... tell me if any of you Utahns saw this because we almost wet ourselves it was so funny....
a movie called Singles Ward.
Oh man, it was so our life!! We've all been laughing ever since - there's a joke about slipping on jello and a carrot sliver cutting the victim's retina, there's the funny part about some guy getting called to serve his mission in Idaho and he's just soooo excited (doesn't quite know where it is though:)
awwww.... we just giggled all the way home. Which is what we did the next day - with a stop in Park City to do the Alpine Slide. oooo:)
Anywho - Pete and Annie were awsome and we had such a gooooood time - even though every mountain we looked at reminded Pete of a deformed butt.
hmmm... this entry must be dull to you folks, so let me think of something interesting to write.... ummm....
I bought a shirt at the BYU book store that says "Oh My HECK!" I say it in a Minnesota accent because that's the only one I can do:)
Dang I love my life. Amazing friends, fabulous adventures... yep, my life rock. I'm off to show Pete the beauties of Golden, Colorado. Maybe we'll do the brewrey tour!
SUPERCRACK is WACKY!!!!!!
