i played mooosic toinght AND THEN i RAMBLE....

October 05, 2001 at 1:45 a.m.

Did you know my amazing neighbor loves to give massages??? and did you know I LOVE to get them? I'd been playing violin for ever-so-long today at my bit of community service I do frequently (can't lift or make things, might as well make some moooozak) and my neighbor put peppermint lotion on my arms and massaged from my shoulders to my fingertips....

could I be more in love??? We'll call her S.L.I.G.-y because I can't spell her name (Short Little Indian Girl). It's Urmi or something but I wouldn't bet the farm on that.

What, I don't want a farm... eyah, I'd bet a whole farm on that.

SOOOOOO tongiht I went to the Brickhaus coffee place and sang and played my geeetar at open mic night and I think they worship me now. I wasn't all that impressed with me cuz I know I've done moooocho better, but whatzeeheckerdoodles, I think they applauded rather loudly.

I sang a ditty I wrote about my dear ex-boyfriend that still has my video of Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's. Well, I took the song, Breakfast At Tiffany's and changed the words to fit my story - funny stuff... my favorite part is the last verse:

Now I'll say hi but I'm really thinkin' / where's my movie you cretin / but for some reason I hold my tounge / Do you think while you're lookin' through me / that I will call Judge Judy / and small claims suit your buuuttttt.........

Real crowd pleaser. And only one person asked me if I was trying to sound like Ani Difranco. WHICH I WASN'T. But I always get that.

I get a lot of "you sound like Ani DiFranco" and also "you play the violin reeaaaal nice... are you goona teach at a high school?"

Both make me feel like poking someone.

My friend Kazoo ( a Japanese student who tap dances while playing the violin) also performed. He's friggin awesome. So cool - Japanese performance art. He ore this cool Sri Lankan skirt and a MJ-esque top.. It's cool to be seen with these sexy people. Ups my stock, bab-ay.

On an unrelated note, I had a salad for lunch and then chocolate ice cream. It's times like these I love being technically a grown up.

and I just got back from a midnight run to IHOP with Urmiiii. I am so geegolly cool.

SUPERCRACK SAYS yowzaarrs!!!!!
