Christmas recap

I typed up a whole entry back on the 20th. But I got so busy with the Christmasing and Jared's family here that I never posted it. I know - i even wrote the whole blasted thing out!!
So to sort of make up for it, I've got a few pictures and a video to bring some cheer. First - the video. it's of Jared giving me my Christmas present. People - I was snookered. Well, go watch the video and then I'll explain. Go ahead, go watch: MY SURPRISE
See, I found this violin case I was DYING to have - in red, mind you - and pestered Jared about it months ago. And I mobilized Anna too - my friend with a violin shop to find it for me, she got the last red one in the whoooole country shipped to her shop and then.... told me Jared was trying to find one for cheaper and someone else had bought it (which TOTALLY is something Jared would try) so I was seriously depressed and believed her.
And then - I find out they'd been lying to me the whole time!!! I've never been so surprised, he did an incredible job of faking me out:)
Ooo, and since we had a chocolate fountain at our wedding, he gave me one for my anniversary gift:) he's sooo good!
Of course, I being a seriously awesome wife, bought HIM a megaphone.
And his family was/is incredibly sweet so I felt much more at ease than I thought I would. Now I gotsta go hang out with them, so here are some pic to mull over:
