so what a week.
I'm just so busy and everyone else is having problems, so mine seem nice and small.
Last night Danielle and I got lost in Dallas trying to find a supermarket where we could find flowers so we could give 'em to her friend because we were going to see her in a play.
I didn't know until the lights sent up that it was The Merchant of Venice - Shakespeare. I was not too excited at this right away. Don't you have to be in the mood for Shakespeare? I was more in the mood for an episode of Sesame Street or Friends. But it wasn't so bad. I understood most of it.
Ech... I hate the anti-semitism in that play. I'm studyingthe Tempest right now and I have a soft spot in my heart for Caliban, as I do now for Shylock. For crying out loud - of course he was anti-Christian!! They spat on him and then his own daughter robbed him and ran off with one. I'd be a little testy, believe you me.
But then we went out to dinner after the show and two of the girls in our party were poopy to me and Danielle and the sad thing was I didn't even understand most of the insults until I got home.
It's probably better that way.
