another entry??

It�s Friday, but it sooo feels like Saturday here, with the kind of luxurious day I�ve had. Well, not a perfect day, but seeing as Jared has work off today and yesterday, it�s been just dreamy. Errands, lazing about, and being covered in the largest wave of baby spit-up yet. I swear, it was like those kids in the video, no warning, just BLAM, and out it came (and having all of it previously painfully extracted from yours truly, how disappointing!)
Jared had gone out to get a haircut, and came home just as I was heading to go wash the both of us off. Once she�d had a bath and I�d changed my shirt, I put her back on her playmat and realized I can�t do this anymore. Just over 3 weeks, and I�m just lost. I have no idea why she spits up without getting upset or being in pain, and I�m REALLY last as to this sleep thing. How much should she sleep during the day? When will I sleep all night ever again? I read all these books and all they served to do was scare me because I couldn�t do anything by the book, it just didn�t work. I can�t do anything the way I�m supposed to.
So I lay down next to her on the floor and cried. Any other day this would make mothering difficult, although Solei hasn�t clicked into my moods yet � that�s handy � but today, Jared picked me up and announced that he was taking Solei on a daddy-daughter date and I was sent off for a nap.
A little sleep gave me part of my confidence back. I wish every day had the two of us all day, but alas and alak, someone has to pay for my fondue pot fettish.
Gotta send this in now - good golly, this writing every day for a month thing is going to be tough. Sorry for the e.mails that are going unanswered! It really does take me a long time to make an entry, even as witty as I am in person, I gots to think of all the crap you all read here in this space. A lot.
Something that will make is a lot easier is the voice recognition software Jared just insalled on my computer. I'll be able to dictate entries while I'm nursing, how freaking cool is that??? Let's try it out now and see how well it works...
