MAY 26th EDIT - hit "new" to read my new entry.... d*land is ignoring my new one... hrm....
So yesterday was Jared's and my 4 month-iversary.
You know what we are kind of good at? Dealing with our differences, i.e., we fight and he makes me laugh. Case in point:
Me, after we had a misunderstanding: "ARG!!! You are such a maroon!"
Him: "Honey, I think you just mispronounced the word 'stud'."
:) His intellect really irritates me sometimes. I'm just not as fast or as clever as him and sometimes it drives me bonkers. Case in point? Check out his latest blog entry. Dang he's funny. Why am I not this clever?? He really does feel this way about Korea, but it's even better when you hear HIM tell you and he gets this look in his eye and this mischevious grin and flaps his hands about a bit.
I'm cursed to be amused for eternity. Ain't life grand?!
So some members of the Atlanta Symphony came by to our school today and I got roped into playing seven 45 minute concerts with them. At each one the members of the symphony made me not only the soloist but the object of teasing throughout the day. I in turn, got to smile, desperately try to not play like a moron even though I've basically taken a year off of playing and not get to rest or eat from 7am till 3pm.
Wasn't so bad, I was just hungry, I guess. I couldn't believe I was playing next to symphony members - each one of them had been in the symphony for 31 years minimum, and I wasn't sucking!
Whew!
Surprise surprise. After 7 years of college, I can actually rock it a little.
Just week left, basically. And then, Denver and my family and then Seattle and Jared's fam. SO LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS.
But right after this, it's Jared's birthday and apparently he doesn't like a big deal about it but dagnabit I wanna do SOMEthing. Any one have any good ideas, something to do but not too big for an eccentric, cheap, old man?
SUPERCRack says much appreciated:)
