good times in ga:)

So all week I've been in these long meetings in chairs that made my tush hurt and had old people lecture me about everything in public school education. Ug, I figure as soon as I get a fiddle in my hand and an orchestra in front of me, I'll be dandy, but those chairs and the lecturing got to me. I was sooo stir crazy!!
So when it was all finished today, I got home and relaxed for a few in my HUGE apartment. I realized that even though I don't spend a lot of time in it, it's worth every penny to have such a beautiful, quiet, just-me space to go for a few. MAN it's nice, come visit me!!! (like Dani and Ben are next week - yay!!!!)
Anywho, I popped over to Joel my AWESOME bud's place to jam on some celtic music, but he ended up being my counselor as he always does. I described my latest boy things (yes, as Jessica pointed out, I've lived here less than a week and I already have a new boy to freak out about) and laughed and cried... and then when it was over, the nice new boy took me to dinner and we talked and watched School of Rock to prepare me for my teaching experience.
I really, really love my new friends out here. I love my co-teacher, I love living in an eastern time zone so I don't wake people up when I call them back west like poor Urmi, and I love finding my way out here.
I didn't think it would be this great. Oh, I start teaching in 2 weeks and it'll be tough, but after 2 years in AZ with so much opposition and heartbreak and coldness... (there was some good stuff too, Jessica:) it's so nice to be here where people are open and nice and....
I just feel good, that's all:) I'm glad things ended up this way.
SUPERCRACK is peachy!
