i think I'm dating my cell phone...

I have been on the phone so much today I thing my cheek is getting slowly glued to the view window...
Have I mentioned how much I LOVE unlimited nights and weekends??
I'm really taking to extremes...
Is it true that cell phones give you brain cancer? Because I was on the phone for 6 hours already today alone.... plus all last night....
A ward building out here had a huge display of nativities from all over the world with music and it was sooo beautiful.. and down the street the Mesa Arizona temple (it's an LDS thing) has all it's beautiful christmas lights up... it's really gorgeous.
I really wanted to go but I don't know anyone here to go with - so I bundled up and I took my cell phone...
yep, called Loren and gave him a play-by-play of all I saw while trying to not feel too terribly depressed. I know I'll spend Christmas with my loved ones, but Arizona can be really lonely sometimes.
Loren is coming up to Colorado for New Years and his birthday and I'm freaking pumped... except he's going to be meeting my family for the first time. Not just my mom and dad - they're pretty great compared to the dead-pan style of my mom's side of the family. He's afraid they're going to hate him and I'm just afraid they're going to eat him for lunch.
Anyone ou there who knows my fam - any advice for my sweetie? because I really think he needs it:)
But seriously - I think I'm getting too attatched to my cell phone. I'm about to call him right now. Is this an addiction?? AM I GOING TO GET BRAIN CANER IF I SPEND OVER 3 HOURS A DAY ON THE PHONE WITH HIM??
We played a great Holiday concert today - the ASU orchestra - and played this one piece - the Musilogical Journey Through the 12 Days of Christmas that was an absolute show stopper.
The auditorium we play in at ASU is gigantic - over 3 times the size of the one we had in Texas. It's great to have that big of an audience laughing and enjoying... even if I'm in the back of the seconds, I can enjoy the music making.
because if I don't look happy, I swear this orchestra director is going to take away my scholarship...AK!
I'm sure there's bunches more I should mention, but I'm just excited about getting finals done with and seeing my sweetie and my family and.... wait, oh my heck - I have the biggest assignment due Tuesday and I haven't even started it!!!!!
