woohoo! picture time! Today I went to a fantastic island off Adelaide called Kangaroo Island... too cool! Except that on the ferry over, the waves were massive and my dad and I got mega sea sick (although I was smart enough to get to the bathroom first) ewwwww... we were kind of nauseous all day, but it was worth it because I got to see so much coolness!!
oooo, and last night I ate Kangaroo for dinner! Niiiiice! (I didn't inclue any pics of the roos I saw though, because they didn't turn out... ah well, I'll see more, I know it!)
But first I'll start with some pictures from the beginning of the trip....
Here be the 'rents and I during our trip to Wilson's Prom - the southernmost tip of mainland Australia. Don't the trees remind you of LOTR? It was filmed in New Zealand, but the vegetaion is similar... hmmmmm cool!
This was Wally the Wombat!! I named him, catchy, huh? We were just walking and he was right there in the path! How cool is that??
The 'rents and I in downtown Melbourne... I love how modern and exciting the archtecture is!
Me, overlooking th southbank area of Melbourne...
Mom and I showing that maturity is far too overrated, outside the Melbourne aquarium:)
Remember that old mining town we went to? We found the old church and that's me, pounding the pulpit ;)
On Kangaroo island today, we got to go to Seal Beach and watch the seals come up out of the ocean after being out to sea for 3 days and night feeding... they are so tired when they get out! And sooooo cootie patootie - this is how close some of 'em got!!! didn't name this feller yet...
There were rainbows allll day and this was the most amazing - cling out of the sea and landing just by Remarkable Rock.... didn't catch the leprechaun, though:)
Dad snapped this one of mum and I overloooking the South Ocean... just amazing - I never thought I'd see it!
and I know this one is dark, but I just wanted to give you an idea of how freaking cool it was - Admirals Arch. In a few thousane years, it will erode and create an island, but for now it's a nice roof for the seals as the rest... I must've seen at least a hundred seals there!
soooooo that's things so far. We're going to sleep off the sea sickness tonight and just play around the huge park across the street tmorrow. I'd like the rest... anywho, hope everyone else is doing marvelous! HAPPY HARRY POTTER #5 DAY!!!
SUPERCRACK needs some Aussie shut-eye!
