It's just kind of funny.
What kind of parents do most people get? And what kind do I get?
I get parents that spend a small fortune sending me to music fesivals and violin, piano, painting, kung-fo and diction teachers for my whole life.
They have this way of getting me a plane ticket and dumping me in some strange place to learn and schmooze.
I'm sitting in the library of Arizonza State University. Got on the plane by myself, got a shuttle, and am now free to roam this strange land before my audition tomorrow.
They've done this since I was a little girl - flying me to California for the summer or violin lessons every month during the year - even with plane changes on Salt Lake all the time. And then I had to find a bus from LAX all the way to Anaheim, all by myself. We're talking baby Reva here.
I didn't want to go to Texas to audition. But they bought me a ticket and I found myself down in Texas, and then a few hours later in the old bar Rick's Place with the music ed chair.
And I ended up there for 5 years??
Sheez, I've been flown off to Boston, Little Rock, Chicago, San Diego, New York, Oakland, whatever. And now Arizona. And they've taken me to Europe twice. WOW. They are school teahers for crying out loud.
My parents love me so much. No wonder I'm psycho:)

This campus is beautiful!! Huge and one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.
And it scares the heck outta me. Wish me luck....
SUPERCRACK is in 70 degree weather.. her parents are under 3 feet of snoww with a high of 15 degrees today. hahaaaa
