almost birthday girl already??

So yes, as I mentioned before, I am merely days away from anoher birthday. Sunday. Yes, in years past, I usually freeeaaakkk out. I so detest getting older, and good gravy - turning 25 was sooo icky.
But, I'm turning 26 and suddenly I think it's kinda sexy.
I guess it's because lots of my friends here are older than me - my bandmate are all 0's and up, and still glamorous and cool - and hey, I am much cuter than I was when I was in my early 20s (hey!! I have early 20s now!!). And I'm married now and am having fun being a "cool" married lady. Whatever that means, but I think I'm pulling it off.
Now if that's not hot, I don't know what is:)
So, my birthday present from Jared's parents is a trip to a style consultant tomorrow. My own gay for a whole hour to tell me what to wear (mostly what NOT to wear, I think;) and what my colors are, what hairstyle would look best on me, etc.
I'm pretty much excited. I always have the urge to go shop just before my birthday (it's that perfec excuse! "well, it IS my birthday week...") but I've had to hold myself back until I get the diagnosis on what I should wear. Dang it. He's going to probably tell me to stop wearing black and red.

Him: "Hi! I'm Stylist! Wow, you should only wear red everydayeveryday!"
Me: "and black?"
Him: "Absopositutely!"
Heck yes. I will be SO sexy. I think my gift from Jared will be that he's going to go shopping with me after my appointment and help me find clothes I'm actually supposed to own. Woot. He's really good at pickingstuff out for me, actually. He picked out my wedding ring.
Oh, and he picked out me too. He really does have incredible taste.
Does anyone else out there have Halo comments? I want to make these work, but so far I can't figure it out.

Okay, and if life couldn't get better - tonight I'm meeting with Jared's Grandpa and parents at IKEA.
