back from San Antonio

I woke up this morning at 5am for a 9:30am flight. Mum and Dad were flying out of the San Antonio airport earlier, so I took the shuttle with them from the hotel.
You know how you're not allowed in the terminal area unless you have a ticket? It was a real treat to be able to take a nap on mom's lap while they were waiting for their plane and hug them goodbye as they walked on the plane.
The weekend in San Antonio was marvelous. It didn't seem odd to have mom there because I wish she was there with me everywhere I go... so in a way, she's always there.
Many wacky moments. Dad did a clinic on website design and it took 45 minues until we were finally online. I almost threw up I was so stressed out.
And my electric violin clinic was pretty good. Much better than last year. But no vinyl pants this time. I think Dad was disappointed about that:)

I'm stightly off-keel right now. One more master's audition this weekend in Arizona. And all this make-up work to do.
I can do this because I am a champion. And because I got to snuggle with my mom last night. ahhhh.....
