big things coming up...

Yesterday was a pretty good day... Thanks for a the call Candis:) I broke out of cookie-cutter fear and was pure Reva all day. I can't take even a few hours wearing anything normal because it starts me feeling nauseous.
Man, I'll NEVER get a real job:)
Hey, check this out - I went to my first institute class and I already have a date with an RM fresh off his mission last Thursday. Heh.
These boys are so normal - I wonder why they even ask me out? What are they looking at - what are they seeing? I mean, I know why the guys I usually date ask me out - because they find me refreshing - I'm not like most girls.
But normal boys? Why the heck do they get interested in me? I don't do normal, do I?
It was cute - he got really nervous because he hasn't talked to a girl one-on-one in 2 years. Well, I'm not old and curmudgeony yet, so I wasn't mean. I have been known to be a tad NO to boys that I think are gross, but he doesn't seem gross... he's actually pretty cute... and it's nice to date a nice boy before they gotta move on to the girls in the "I'm looking for a husband crowd."
Oh well, now I have someone to show me around Phoenix. All I've neen is Tempe and Mesa... and not much of it, although I do get lost rather often:)
Last night was a dream come true... When I came to ASU for my audition, I met this guy who is starting a recording business, looking for people to record for demos. He's mostly a hip-hop producer, does a lot of jazz and rap, but he wanted to branch out to my classical style.
Tuesday, after a crushing day, I sat out at the bus stop outside of the school of music, just playing my guitar for therapy, when this same guy pulled his car up to me and asked me a few questions, before we recognized each other. So funny the way things work out - he was on his way to the ASU campus to see if he could find me!
Last night we recorded my violin solo I wrote for 9-11, and Persephone.. and we're doing more.
O MY HECK.
I was amazing !!!! !!! He taught me how to dub myself, we added the neatest vocal whispers and moans to the chorus - unmixed it gives me goosebumps. He is the neatest musician, just living to make music, and he wants to help me make mine.
Man... I'm starting to think I have a shot at something. He knows lots of people down here and he wants to start performing live... do I dare? Do I have a shot?? This is a lot to take in...
I feel talented for the moment. THis is kind of cool - you'll be able to download the music soon.
Urmi, Annie, this is for you. Hold onto your hats:)
SUPERCRACK is starting to settle in..
