I still have to pack and buy batteries and then go to orchestra and then get on a plane to go to San Antonio and I'm nervous because last year the clinic was not-so-good but that's because someone sat there and talked boring stuff for 20 minutes but the last few clinics I've done have been really good so this should be fine and I found a suitcase to hold my equipment I just hope there's room for my toiletries because I really need to bring my stuff I hate using the hotel stuff and dad will probably use it anyway and I get to see my mom and dad tonight...
Oh, and get this conversation I had with my mom last night:
Me: I'm so worried! What if I don't get into CU? That's the only option I have because I already have so many freaking student loans and CU is the cheapest HELP!!!
Mom: just be quiet and get your degree. Everyone has massive school debt.
me: I'm a freaking music major!! I'll never earn enough money to pay off this debt and take care of myself!! AKAKAK!!!
Mom: Reva, look at [name ommited]. She had an expensive major, expensive everything, parents never paid anything and she went right up and got married. Now her husband is paying of her student loans. So don't worry, you'll.... be okay.
Me: Did you just almost say I should marry someone who will pay off my student loans??????????
mom: I don't know what you're talking about.
dude. I'm getting an brain tumor just trying to get into grad school.
