there's not much to say except this past week has been the best week EVER - uh, again, and Mark O'Connor fiddle conference is the must wonderful thing EVER INVENTED.
Besides um... plants and stuff.
Anywho, I had an INCREDIBLE concert last night and I played my new song that I wrote fro 9-11 and the greatest fiddle players in the WORLD were there to hear me (they were out faculty) and they loved it and a bunch of them want a copy of the music!
Also, Kazu tap danced, played the violin, took pictures of the audience, ran around the stage yelling and generally freaked out the entire camp doing an 8 minute performance art piece.
Dang, I have the coolest friends.
Seriously, you should have seen the mommies and children and normal people from Minnesota and stuff looking up at him, trying to figure out if they should laugh or scream.
And when he put hangers on his head - THAT took the cake!
Anywho, my aunt and grandparents came and it absolutely wonderful to have them there and I'd like to write more, but I have to pack up my life and move to Arimazona on Wednesday and my mom just got out of the hospital and she needs me so I'm quite the busy ducky.
I love my mom. She'll be okay, but I'm afraid about the long run... her body is very special to me and I'd like it to keep running for a few more years.
that is all:)
