on the back of a time machine

heehee. Totally got Urmi.
Our fair friend was coming in from England last night and her parents were picking her up so we gave them space... like good friends do... but haha, not really:)
Pete and I painted a big sign that said "Welcome Back Urmi" (even though Pete thought my painting technique obviously stunk:) and we headed down to DFW just to say hi for a few minutes when she got off the plane. And wouldn't you know it? Eric showed up too, just to surprise her. We have cool brains:)

What an incredible way to end up my time in Denton Texas... date a boy with a motorcycle.
Yesterday evening he took me for a ride all over town while the sun was setting... we passed places that have big significance for me - the park where I ate hummus and played with the boy who was about to reveal his affair with me... the place where I used to go jogging with the Baptist... long country roads where I could see civilization but not quite...
and I was on the back of a motorcycle with a good friend, looking at my old selves, still there, peering back at me. Do you believe in Time Machines?
Pete played me a song last night about me leaving...I bawled so hard... I'm turning into a pile of mush here. I'm not sad, I'm so overwhelmed with the many things I've done here and grown with here.
