i hate macs.
But what are you goona do? When you're stranded in Northridge Californina because the pager number of the man that was goona help you BLEW AWAY so now this scary middle eastern dispatcher that yelled at you yesterday is sending a shuttle to drive you to LAX to catch the last fight to Dallas?
You settle for a mac, THAT'S what you do.
I just auditioned at Cal State Northridge and they like me. For my Masters and stuff. But now I'm all stranded and a little annoyed.
But how could I after yesterday.... I went to Cal State Long Beach earlyearly because that was when bro Rhys could take me and sat in the cold for 2 hours. Then I had an audition with the orchestra director.
"Take out your violin and play something" he said. Then the violin prof calls and wants me to play something over the phone for them.
I'm cold and I have an impressionist piece to play minus the friggin duet part. This is a marvelous way to impress a school.
But I play. And I play pretty well for being freezing. I played about the first page of the Debussy Sonata. Fun stuff.
He says into the phone "yeah, yeahm yeah, I know," hangs up the phone and says "well, you're in."
eeeep! They liked my sound, my tonality, the emotion I was trying to express... yes!!!!!! After the nasty lady from USC I've been so blue. But someone liked the way I sound!!
The campus is beautiful, it's not too big and the beach is minutes away. I had lunch and a campus tour with an old friend I've had for over 12 years who goes there, and everyone was so friendly.
As opposed to today, where I'm shlepping around luggage, and being told the grad advisor will speak to me AFTER I attend here.
Whatever. Even if I don't go to Long Beach, at least I was respected and wanted somewhere. Almost makes having to use a mac not matter.
SUPERCRACK is off to the airport, hopefully???
YIPPEEE!!!!!!!!!!! Someone liked my violin making!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
