day 2 - karaoke and a sighting and OPRAH!

ooo golly...
Last night was girls night. We had to celebrate the fact that the chairs given in orchestra were on CRACK. I'm all the way up to second stand, 2nd violin and Michelle got put 12th chair, 2nd violin.
That is just plain WRONG. Now I have to know all the friggin notes and chow up to rehearsal because he(the dirty ol' conductor) can see me. Dang it. And tons of good players got smooshed back.
He's such ... poop.
So, we went to Leon's - the nasty local bar Michelle and I discovered last year for Karaoking, and did just that.
I opened with.. are you ready for this???
THE THONG SONG! I even tried Sisqo's version and tried to shake my booty, but I couldn't quite get jiggy enough. Lucky for us, it was Courage night or something, and there were tons of cool soused lesbonians who were getting totally jiggy.
And then Michelle sang "spark" by Tori Amos and they fell in love. If we;d sung some Liza Minelli, then the men with the group woulda been happy:)
We are soooo funky.

So I'm sure everyone is sitting on the edge of their seats to see what happened with me and if I ran into the ex yet.... and the answer is.... YES.
It was totally cool - he is one nice cookie. I felt fine - until I got home and ran into the bathroom and ran out screaming.
Roomate Natalie was curious: "Reva, what are you doing?"
Me:"AK! I just ran into Nathan and ... I didn't look cute at ALL. AK!"
Natalie: "What?? You look fine!"
Me:"FINE???? AKKKKKK!"
Natalie:"C'mere - I've got the perfect thing for you - "
and with that she pushed me in front of the TV to see an episode of Oprah that was on with Dr.Phil talking to people who couldn't get over their break-ups.
How perfect was that? And these people were screwed up. Man I felt normal compared to them.
and okay about myself. They were weird.
Of course later when we went grocery shopping I made her wait while I changed pants 4 times because absolutely NOTHING looked okay and I just had NO shoes whatsoever.
But I'm a girl and that's okay:)
SUPERCRACK IS A STEREOTYPE!!!
