eyelashes, boys and life

hmmmm..... after Libbyo's entry, all of the sudden I have this massive craving for enchiladas. Something Mexican. Anything...
ech, it's nine in the morning and we don't have a kitchen so I have to sufffeeerrrr. Thanks a bunch, L. grrrrrrr.
I play with my eyelashes a bunch. Is that weird?
They are possibly the longest lashes of anybody I know and they really are a nice assest of mine... blinking is quite an event:)
But really, I find myself watching TV or whatever and I'm bending 'em, twirling 'em, parting 'em, whatever. They're just fascinating to me, that's all. Can't get enough of 'em.
I must look like a 3-year-old, just awestruck at my new body, poking my nooose and my tooooes all the time.
Just wondered if that was weird. I've never shared this obsession with anyone before... you lucky, lucky kids:)

Dad brought a bunch of pictures home yesterday that I needed developed... a party we threw at Joann's (with her belly-dancing, of course:), random Urmi-ness, some ex-boyfriend action, some Mormon-spaghetti action, some Dainelle action... dang I miss my life.
I'm 22... I'm graduated from high school and I have an undergraduate degree in violin under my belt. I have so many incredible friends who call me all the time and let me feel so loved... and I'm living in Colorado, with my parents for the summer. Specific reasons, of course... but I had a LIFE. I lived on my own and had places to go and people to be with every hour of the day. And they're 14 hours away.
They'll leave sometime too.
I had a LIFE. I picked up in the morning, did what I needed to do, paid the bills, made social calls, plans, taught violin, went grocery shopping all on my own. I'll have that back in a few months. But you don't know what you have until you are suddenly awaken by your mother at 8am at your door with a near-hysterical "WHERE DID YOU PUT THE WHITE PAGES???? You had them last!!!!" and after you explain they are right next to where the usually go, she stalks down the hall mubling loudly "no one ever puts anything away around here ... it's MY house dang it... i ndfaraehr...."
I miss my life.
Last night the boy who looks like Russell Crowe called me up and invited my over to watch A Beautiful Mind and I.... (drumroll please.....)
Told him I'd love to but I had homework to do and then I actually DID it!!!!!!!
HAHAHAHAAAA!!!!! Reva is the man! No "whistle and I'll come to you my lad"!! I have a shred of self control, yes I do!! whoohoo!!!!
I have too much studying to do to go having crushes on boys. I do miss Loren though.... remember, Crabtree? He's the nicest boyfriend I've ever had and an even nicer friend now. Fate works in mysterious ways, but it was nice that we had even a few months together before I got thrown to the winds again in the crazy schedule I lead.
Even my mom admits he was nice and cute, too. Finally, validation! She liked one! I'll have pictures up tomorrow, no worries:)
But life wants me single right now, I just know it. You wouldn't believe the list of things I need to know BEFORE I even start classes in grad school. And no boy - even one that looks like Russell Crowe - is goona derail this train!
(and if you say something like "famous last words, I'm goona go up to Idaho and poke you in the eye!!)
