packing up and such

must update... but have no time...
got a haircut this morning from a girl I met in the ward - $5! I've found the best haircuts I gt are free or from a friend. When I spend $40 it never looks quite as good... but the trick is to find these friends.. yes it is..
and now I have to feverishly pack. I'm such a pig, I don't know where any of my stuff IS. I'm getting a trailer and Wednesday I'm trying to make it to Flagstaff, Arizona before it gets too dark and I can stay with my cousin who I haven't seen in YEARS. Like, over 10, I think.
She has lots of dogs though. And you know how I feel about animals...
Mom's feeling a little better, but it's tenuous. I'm really scared because wake-up calls like this rarely work for my work-a-holic parents. And no matter what she says, her body really handle the strain anymore.
Like yesterday, I baked some brownies before church for my visiting teachies and took them out of the oven to cool. I went upstairs to do something momentarily, and when I come back down, mom is out of bed and is wrapping up the browinies for me. Her maternal instincts are more powerful than radar, but oooooo she's just like all the Christensen women - so stubborn! Won't stay in bed!
She's under so much stress right now and she's weak from her body just shutting down and I'm leaving in 2 days!! Could the timing be worse??
I would also like to say, even though the people at fault don't read this regularly, I'm going to get off my chest:
I am one of the friendliest people you wil ever meet. I make friends really easily because I just love people. People are always surprised at this, but honestly, I'm just really freaking happy most of the time.
The only time you will see an attitude that is over the edge scary, is when you cross my mom. If you hurt her, you have no idea the kind of wrath you will incur.
And it's like so many people nowadays think it's okay to yell at her and treat her like crap - even after all she's done for everyone.
All I can say is, watch out.
Hell hath no fury like this daughter.
SUPERCRACK out.
