bagel love

Ug.
So yesterday I had 2 gigs - one a this lovely local festival in South Atlanta, and one last night at a local Irish pub.
Yesterday morning-ish, Anna, out loooverly bass player called me before she picked me up (capooling) and told me she was going to Einstein's for lunch and did I want someting?
YES saith I! My favorite bagel EVER - for many reasons, and one of them being that it was one of the things that made me fall for Jared initially - there's a tiny bit in the story on our wedding website in the "Our Story" section, which you should check out some time but it gives you cavities it's so sappy.
A few weeks after we started dating - which was only we-go-on-dates-but-we're-not-a-couple-because-Reva-isn't-into-commitment-right-now, we had this perfect day. We went canoe-ing up in he north Georgia mountains, we hung out with my students, we even met his dad. It was just so confortable and fun, but one of the best parts was breakfast. Seriously!
When I lived in Arizona, there was an Einstein's Bagels around the corner that I went to all the time. Annie and my roomates went there with me the day of my master's recital, actually (Annie was shocked that we all went in our pajamas, it was so funny). But my faaavorite one was the Roasted Red Pepper Pesto with Sun-Dried Tomato schmear - ahhhh looooved it! But they discontinued it and I was heart broken.
Now in Georgia, I'm only a few blocks away from one so we went there for breakfast on our way to go canoeing, and would you believe it - Georgia Einstein's HAD IT!! I was so excited I talked about it all day, it made me soooo happy! I know, it's sad how such little everyday things get me all happy, but that was actually one of the selling points for Jared liking me - I'm pretty easy to please and surprise, honestly.
That day was wonderful from start to finish - and at the very endof the day... I fiiinally kissed him. I'd been holding off because I didn't want a relationship, but you add in a wonderful day AND my favorite bagel? I kneeeeew it was true love.
So fast forward a year-ish, and Anna knows the whole story, and also knows that I've been destitute with Jared gone for the last 2 days - so she shows up at my doorway with 3 Roasted Red Pepper Pesto bagels and a tub of sun-dried tomato schmear to raise my spirits.
Now THAT is an awesome friend:)
I'd write more, but Jared just got home!!! Tomorrow I'll post some pictures of his adventres in Mississippi, but for right now, I think I'll have some adventures here at home:)
SUPERCRACK is locking the door!
