I am the eternal hostess!!!!! I got a crock pot for Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know how to use one, or what to make, but golly I am going to invite everyone to my house after church just so I can me cool like Jana and Wendy. Everyone will bow to my incredible food-making-skill-thingy-stuff!!!!!
Yes, thereva is a total wussy when it comes presents. And for the first time ever, our fair princess got more gifts thatn anyone!!! Okay, so Quinn and Dad were my competition, but it always drives me crazy how friggin many presents the guys get and they don't even appreciate them. Mom - I mean SANTA - gets so frustrated abbout what to get 'em that she just keeps buying until it's big on the quantity, not so specific with the qualiity.
And since I'm the only girl, she knows what to get me, so I get specific, thoughtful gifts. FINE. But hahahaa!! I won out on quantity this year!
Of course the quantity was significantly less because I AM 22 years old, but since I'm still oh-so-immature, you have to humour me, right?
And I got to be the most decadent girl in the world and sit in my hot tub and finish White Christmas.... ahhhhhhhh. Of couse you want to smack Rosemary Clooney upside the head for being such a dork and not just telling Bing Crosby why she was mad, so then he could tell her it was all a misunderstnading, but heh, it wouldn't have that unpredictable romantic tension that makes old movies just that exciting:)
Our Christmas isn't so white here, but I'm going to ski this weekend so the snow had better start behaving itself. I'm going to be swishing on the slopes in my oh-so-sexy black ski pants and I want proper snow to swish on. The princess has spoken.
Hey, the princess spoke to Dallin yesterday!! He's really good, not much of a talker (what's new:) and he got bit by a dog. Plus he's eating a whole bunch of mayonaise so we think he might actually gian weight. Although his Christensen metabolism is quite phenomenal. We missed him a bunch yesterday, oh yes we did.
And the other brother missing, Rhys, sent a big map of Europe with pins so we could mark all the places we'd been. It was the coolest gift - golly, we've been plenty of places.
And now to my social doings... gotta go be everywhere to be cool. The poor people in Texas... theis is my secret double agent life up here. Relaxing is nice, but only in small doses.
