eu te amo!

For the last few weeks, the baby has been able to say the word "PEAASSEEE??" when she wants food, "UH-PUH" for up and in the last 2 days, "DOWWW" for down. It's insanely cool and disconcerting to have this baby making sense after 13 and a half months of just making goobledegook.
Today, I was telling her I love her in Portuguese when I decided to push the envelope. Maybe I cold get her to say something back, right?? (the following is spelled phonetically for ya'll - by the way, if you are curious, it's Eu Te Amo, pronounced Eh-ee Chey Ah-moe)
Me: "Ey-oo..."
Solei: "ew"
Me: "Chay.."
Solei: "shay"
Me: "Amo!"
Solei: "Ah-oh!"
!!!!!!!!!! How creepy is that?? Also doubly creepy is how she'll come at me constantly with this angry look on her face and demand - "Peeeaassseee??" and I know she wants those Gerber cheeto-thingys. Now, Gerber stuff has that cute baby on them, and they dissolve super fast in her mouth so she doesn't choke - and she could eat them all day every day. But that's not healthy right? She should be eathing.. I dunno - veggies?
But she still has baby teeth buds, so it would make sense that she'd only like to eat something easy to eat. But so far, I can't figure out any easy eats.. tried zuchinni today, that was a bust... she likes corn and peas, but good golly it's messy.
You know, the first year of her life, they told me everything to feed her. Now, it's all "just try new things, heehee!" Jerkfaces. I need a nanny - not for baby, for me.
And Jane - Jared thinks I'm nuts for the wanderlust. That's probably a good thing:)
SUPERCRACKin!
