As I type this, many of you are either on your way home to celebrate Thanksgiving, or are already there. I'm in Brasil with Jared and a very angry baby. I have no idea why she's so mad - I've been nice today. No needless poking.
Sunday we're heading to an American friend's place for as much of a Thanksgiving dinner that we can muster. We're about the same age, and they have a 2 year old and a 3 month old. It's my first Thanksgiving away from adults - just becuase we have kids doesn't make us any closer to adulthood.
But tomorrow is any other day. I'm thankful for soo, so much. I'll try and find some time tomorrow to make a list or two.
I spent today with a pair of ladies from church who decided to come over and clean and cook for me. So sweet and kind!
One of the ladies went ape over Solei and was so adorable - she talked fast and googly and complete baby talk, something I have yet to master, and Solei went crazy! She giggled and cooed in ways I've never seen! How come I can't get her to do that?? How the heck do I learn to do googly baby talk if she obviously loves it so much? Is there a coochie-coo website out there??
Dang this entry is dull. I'm sorry, crying baby is calling. Happy turkey day tomorrow - think of me as you chomp into all the food. I'm lokoing forward to some chili cheese dogs myself;)
